Cuckoo Tors is an area of land on the edge of the moors near Buxton. It is owned by the University of Derby, and is currently under regenerative management.
Previously the site was used for sheep grazing. In December 2021 the sheep were taken off the land, and the vegetation was allowed to regenerate naturally. We are using a range of different methods to monitor the changes over time.
